Dubai’s public transportation landscape is poised for a significant leap forward with the launch of the Dubai Metro Blue Line, set to redefine commuting standards in the emirate. A Visionary Project: Dubai Metro Blue Line

The Dubai Metro Blue Line will seamlessly integrate with the existing Red and Green Lines, spanning 30 kilometers, with 15.5 kilometers of underground tracks and 14.5 kilometers of elevated tracks. This state-of-the-art transit system aims to connect vital urban hubs, revolutionizing connectivity and convenience.

The construction of the Blue Line will kick off in April 2025, with phased development ensuring timely execution. According to Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General of the RTA, this project is set to become “one of the best in the Middle East region.”

With a staggering AED 20.5 billion investment, the project has been awarded to a consortium of renowned Turkish and Chinese firms, MAPA, Limak, and CRRC, guaranteeing cutting-edge infrastructure and construction. The project will also feature advanced safety measures to address environmental challenges, such as flood-prone areas, ensuring uninterrupted operations.

Among its engineering marvels, the Blue Line includes a 1,300-meter bridge crossing Dubai Creek, a first for the metro network, adding both functionality and architectural elegance.

Ras Al Khor Industrial Area

Travel times between these destinations will range from 10 to 25 minutes, offering swift and efficient commuting options.
